I ran a live session this week on Claude Skills and asked the room a simple question: who has actually used them? A few hands went up. Most hadn’t. That surprised me, because Claude Skills are the single biggest reason my AI output sounds like my business, and the single biggest reason most executives tell me, “Every AI answer looks the same.”
When you type a question into Claude or ChatGPT with zero context, the model scans the internet, compiles what it finds, and returns the most statistically average response. That average-internet answer is what most leaders are showing their teams and calling “AI output.” The setup is the difference. Skills are how you fix it once and move on.
