I’m always excited when I read about AI applications in science. I’m from software engineering, so I’m not going to design a bacteriophage anytime soon, but this is exactly the kind of application I was hoping for. 🙂

A couple of days ago, OpenAI announced that one of its internal models had produced results in mathematics, computer science, and physics. The possibility that the Exponential Time Hypothesis is false is especially exciting.

Go, AI, go! Take us to real discoveries, not just better mailbox triage. 🙂
