Been using Wispr Flow. I LOVEEE it. I mostly use it to just do brain dumps with my AI and I figure out if I'm gonna write an essay to it, why not just dictate it because it's faster? 🤣 Haha it's a great great tool.
Yep, Wispr has freed me up - brain and fingers. I could never just type, would always edit as I went which really kills output and made typing such a drag. Plus I'm only a 4-finger typist. I don't feel compelled to edit as I speak as I don't have to see the text. And it sure doesn't 'feel' like I'm 'working'.
The guys we mocked back in the day, who chose typing classes during the first 2yrs of highschool, sure came out ahead. They were only there chasing the girls, but they also enjoyed a big headstart when personal computers went mainstream over the next 5-10yrs.
i’m a pretty big fan as well. it’s really a quick and easy way to get your thoughts down. and it feels more natural.
It does!!
The AI interview is a great idea! I've recently started doing that to build out context files for projects I'm working on and its SO much better.
It really does help!

It could be rebranded as Braindump AI
🤣🤣🤣
😂
The gap between thinking and typing is real, and dictation feels like a more natural way to capture ideas before they disappear.
And mine disappear too quickly haha
The faster you capture, the better the thinking holds up.
Yes! Nothing gets lost in translating brain to keyboard
The switch between languages is so neat!
Yes, I loved it!
Wispr Flow has literally changed my life.
Same here!!!
Love this framework! I am using dictation to write this now. 🗣️
The biggest difference for me (besides speed) is that speaking gives you the thought before you start polishing it.
When I type, I edit too early (like you). When I dictate, the tone and context come through much more naturally.
I do not usually go past 10 minutes, which is the ChatGPT voice cap for me. (No idea what Claude allows?)
I have also found myself using the native iPhone keyboard dictation a lot more lately.
Oh, and Whisper Flow is one I keep hearing about as well, including from a Millennial Masters interview.
That’s a power move ;) man you’ve got to try it, it’s so much better that iPhone dictation
On my endless to-do list since last October it seems... 😅
haha that's how it is often!
Voice dictation bridges the gap between thinking and typing, massively boosting productivity and output.
It does!!! Very well said

Voice dictation gains all that back :)
Yes!!! I just think way faster than I type
I've been using Wispr Flow for last few days as well. Pretty amazing even the free plan :D
You’ll be in the pro plan in a few weeks, I can see it haha
