Writing is one of the most powerful ways to bring your ideas into life. In the hands of the right leader, writing can transform organizations: first by transforming the leader himself, then by transforming the audience.
This is a great resource you guys made! Haven't explored Claude yet, but from what I've heard it's a pretty useful tool.
thanks, James! I've moved the bulk of my newsletter creation process to Claude over the past month, I really like their projects and ability to follow much much longer instructions. You should check it out!
The distinction between writing as "output" vs. "thinking tool" is fascinating and feels like something most leaders stumble over. It's almost like the difference between using a meeting to share decisions versus using it to actually make better decisions.
Totally, Luan - When you collaborate with Claude in this way, you get the advantage of a back-and-forth conversation. It's the same when you bring a group of people together to share decisions. In both cases, collaboration allows your thinking and your ideas to improve exponentially.
Couldn’t agree more, writing really is the best leverage for sharpening your thinking. It’s one of the highest-compounding, lowest-cost ways to not only express yourself but also refine your ideas as you go.
Loved how you broke down the five different approaches using Claude, so practical and spot on!
Writing = your most underused revenue lever. I turned scattered iPhone Shortcut ideas into a multi-platform business using exactly these approaches. Claude helps me think faster, not think FOR me. Every leader needs this thought-partnership stack.
Gives me more tools, more knowledge & support infrastructure as a leader - reading & writing. My divergent mind is very chaotic so writing also helps me to clarify
Good one, Mike. I have always liked Claude for editing and suggestions on writing, and it kind of stands out over other AI tools for me. Indeed I had it analyze my writing and created a project to ensure it offers suggestions on not committing my usual writing mistakes. It works like a charm.
So for me, I first had Claude analyze a few of my drafts in a thread, and find what my most common mistakes are in writing newsletters. Then after it gave me common patterns of mistakes, I just had it draft a project system prompt to ensure it matches my writing personality. And more importantly, checks for my weird writing patterns, such as going overly long and overwhelming the reader with lots of info. That project continues to be useful today—every newsletter I write I run through it—because you know old habits die hard.
Really interesting I have been until now just working with ChatGPT, some powerful prompts here. I will give this a try especially the linking of scattered thoughts. The connections and inference inside our brains doesn’t always read the same to others. Thank you.

I definitely will some day.

that meeting comparison is great! I HATE meetings that just waste time and where nothing gets done

Thanks, Jenny!
We were trying to make this as actionable and practical as possible
Glad it resonated!
Which one will you try first?
Thanks Mike. I probably tried all in various formats :)

And that's just the start for you! I look forward to seeing the growth of the AI Flow club
Thanks for sharing guys. Really useful tips 👏
Have you seen the same? writing helping you lead better or with more impact?

Same here!

Same! I'd love to learn more of your use! I use Claude more than anything else currently.

Love that!

I’m glad, Ian! I encourage you to try Claude.ai, it’s free, I’d be interested in your take on how it compares to ChatGPT with the same prompts
