I hate wasting time on bad books too. Thanks for putting this together.

By the way, I might need to set up a “Buy me a book” instead of “Buy me a coffee” if I keep reading Paul’s newsletter, haha.

That's not a bad idea!! For anyone who asks for Christmas, I want books and lose leaf tea haha

😂 Nice idea Laura!

Great idea! Somebody clicks "Buy me a book" and then gets redirected to your wishlist. That wishlist shows the current Amazon price. Then I can donate that exact amount and the note shows "I gifted you book X that was on your list!".

Added AI and the Octopus :)

It’s on mine too! Haven’t read it

I got a hook just from the art and title! Talk about an effective marketing.

Seriously! Let’s see if it matches the quality of the content

Thanks for the kind feedback Elena, this really helps! Hope you have a great Christmas and a big 2026!

Thank you Paul, same to you! 🎄

Joel Salinas's avatar

Yes! Do you have a favorite ai book?

Elena | AI Product Leader's avatar

Not yet! Ironically, I haven’t read much about AI in books. That's why I consider this list invaluable. Finally, I can take a look at worthy material. :)

Thanks for the recommendations guys !

Paul, though not AI, Chris' books are amazing! You need to check them out.

Shucks. So kind. Book 3 is in the messy middle 🥵 so probably will release in the spring

Particularly intrigued by Cointelligence. Added to my list!

Joel Salinas's avatar

It's great! About 30% of it will be too elementary for you, but it's great, I just finished it

Filtering signal from AI book noise is more valuable than another trend take.

Paul Morrison's avatar

Thanks @John Brewton for providing a great one line mission statement for my publication! I spent 6 months working on my messaging but this is better!

John Brewton's avatar

Happy to help, Paul!

I’ve never heard of these books, but those look like will be important to read since the uprise of AI because it’s not going anywhere.

Joel Salinas's avatar

Yes! @paul is amazing at curating these lists

Thanks Paul and Joel, going to be asking Santa for 'Living and Working with AI' for sure!

Paul Morrison's avatar

Sam - there is a different top 5 books if you are on Santa’s naughty list 🥸

Joel Salinas's avatar

😂😂😂

Dr Sam Illingworth's avatar

I hope none of mine are on that. 🤣

I don’t use AI and I’m still successful. Should I wory?

You can skip these ;)

Joel - I really appreciate the encouragement, and I love the sense of urgency at Leadership in Change. High tempo smart thinking! 👍

Yes! I really think one of the biggest needs in the information age is knowing what to focus on and what to ignore. This was an amazing list. I look forward to doing this again in 2026. ;)
