Love this article Joel and Daria! Reminds me of Stephen Covey’s sharpening the saw story. Yes - we need more margin. Love AI for clearing my mental whiteboard, reframing voice mode notes, research, pattern recognition across multiple topics. AI is such an intelligence accelerator. Ask it for white paper summaries like a TED talk for topics I want to learn about. Then drop it in a voice reader.
Patrick I love that idea you dropped there at the end! I think still there are so many creative ways people are using current tools that are not well known l
I use it to help me outline spreadsheets. Build checklists and I even used it to make 20-30 pages of messy handwritten notes legible and build themes and takeaways.
I couldn’t wait for this to drop. I really like how you framed it, that margin isn’t just free time… The hustle is so real, every day is packed with more and more stuff that leaves no room to even breathe.
We need margin. It’s the space where ideas finally get air, where the solutions stuck in the back of your mind suddenly click into place. Stepping back can actually be what moves things forward.
Grateful for this reminder (and so honored for the mention!).
People do forget that we have one currency that we will never recover and that is time. Enacting boundaries is an absolute must nowadays.
Yes! Great point!

I love using AI to offload tedious tasks and catch errors my tired brain might miss. Here’s to more margin!

100% those are great! And just subscribed to you. Thanks for sharing!
That’s awesome! What kind of tedious tasks? I’m always looking for more ideas
Thank you so much for including me in this! ❤️
