I think both are amazing choices, I run claude code in cursor as well, but if I need to run a continuous and heavy chat session, I’d do in a native cli so it’s much more resource efficient.
Thanks for this recap Joel! It’s awesome that AI is now able to execute tasks across tools and able to manage workflows with limited human intervention. Perhaps now we can stop spending so much time in front of computers and spend more time interacting with people and driving conversations.
I don't see a huge jump in how useful it is for writing specifically but that's because I've always, for a while, been happy with how it writes. I don't know if I am the best example, because for me it only writes within the very, very strict parameters that I have laid out for it. I don't really know how it would do without those parameters.
Great recap Joel! I'm glad Claude is going cheaper and better at the same time :)
Thank you! Do you pretty much use claude code?
Hah I’m 50-50 on Claude Code and Cursor :)
I think I beat you. I'm a hundred. Claude Code a hundred Cursor. Haha, I run Claude Code within the Cursor trap. I don't know why.

That’s smart!!!!
Good concise and insightful reporting Joel. I'd be interested in learning more, in your future issues, about practical Computer Use cases.
Sounds good! Exactly the feedback I need

Seriously I think that's the ultimate goal. For me dictation has really allowed me to step away from the keyboard as well. 🙂
Thanks! Will try a.s.a.p.
It’s almost near to opus 4.5 and at like 1/5th the price. I love it!
I know!! I was thinking that too!
How do you feel about 4.6 for writing? I haven’t made the jump yet to using it

yeah, also for some of my longer workflows it hits limits faster, so thats the other reason i'm still using 4.5 for quite a few things it seems
